Key Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our organization in a key role that involves designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and transformation frameworks.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering roles with hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

  • Design and build efficient data pipelines that enable analytics, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Develop and optimize PySpark/Spark SQL jobs for large-scale batch and streaming data transformations.
  • Ingest data from various sources including Apache Kafka, REST APIs, and RDBMS, ensuring real-time or near-real-time availability.
  • Implement data modeling strategies for analytics consumption layers in Synapse or ADLS.

The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in SQL, Python, and Spark for data manipulation and transformation.

We also require a strong understanding of CI/CD practices, data lake architecture, and modern data warehousing principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices, data lake architecture, and modern data warehousing principles.

You should also have good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
