We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our datacenter infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring our client's infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure while meeting the evolving needs of our client's organization.

Key Responsibilities :


1. Datacenter Technologies :

  • Lead the management and optimization of core datacenter technologies, including Servers and Storage systems.
  • Implement and maintain virtualization solutions using VMware, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions, particularly using Nutanix.
  • Manage data protection technologies, including Commvault, Veeam, and Dell DPS, to ensure reliable backup and recovery.

Cloud Integration :

  • Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises datacenter solutions and public cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud strategies that optimize cost and performance.

Virtualization and HCI Expertise :

  • Drive the adoption of virtualization technologies to maximize resource utilization and flexibility.
  • Implement HCI solutions to simplify management and improve scalability, while aligning with business objectives.

Data Management and Protection :

  • Develop and enforce data management policies to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
  • Lead initiatives for disaster recovery and business continuity planning, implementing best practices for backup and recovery solutions.

Network Security :

  • Establish and maintain robust network security protocols, leveraging technologies such as Fortinet and Checkpoint.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary controls.

Infrastructure Design :

  • Architect and design datacenter solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical specifications for new projects.

Team Leadership :

  • Mentor and lead a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Documentation and Reporting :

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and policies.
  • Provide regular reports to management on infrastructure performance, security posture, and project status.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in datacenter management and infrastructure design.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware) and HCI technologies (Nutanix).
  • Expertise in backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam).
  • In-depth understanding of network security technologies (Fortinet, Checkpoint).
  • Proven experience with cloud integration and management (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
