Overview of the Role:

HyrEzy Talent Solutions is seeking an accomplished Datacenter Solutions Specialist to lead our Datacenter Solutions practice in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills to drive the success of our datacenter solutions and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • We are looking for a specialist with deep knowledge of core datacenter technologies, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud integration. Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, as well as on-premise datacenter solutions integrating with public clouds (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), is essential.
    • The ideal candidate should have expertise in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and hyper-converged infrastructure platforms (e.g., Nutanix). Proficiency in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Commvault, Veeam) is also required.
    • A strong understanding of network security, especially with technologies like Fortinet & Checkpoint, is crucial for this role.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading technical teams, including engineers and project managers. A focus on mentoring and developing team members, providing opportunities for growth and certification in relevant technologies, is essential.
    • Skills in resource planning, allocation, and optimization to ensure project success are necessary for this role.
    • Experience in conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and managing team dynamics is also required.
  • Project Management:
    • This position requires expertise in managing datacenter projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) would be beneficial.
    • The ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with datacenter projects is critical.
    • A commitment to continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies is essential for this role.
  • Customer Facing:
    • We are seeking a professional with a strong customer-centric approach, able to understand customer needs, build relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction by successfully completing all projects.
    • Experience in supporting sales teams with technical expertise and running assessments on customer infrastructures is required.
    • The ability to manage relationships with technology partners, including vendors like VMware, Nutanix, Commvault, Veeam, and Fortinet, and develop strategic relationships with service organizations that augment current service delivery capability is essential.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Acumen:
    • The ideal candidate will be able to align the datacenter practice with the organization's overall business strategy and goals.
    • An understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape in the datacenter space, and aligning capabilities inside to best deliver those services, is necessary.
    • Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial planning within a practice is required.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • A commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and trends in the datacenter space is essential for this role.
    • The ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the practice, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness, is critical.
    • Involvement in the development of new services and solutions that leverage emerging technologies and meet evolving customer needs is required.
  • Certifications:
    • The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE) and ensure the team achieves and maintains necessary certifications as needed.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • The ability to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the practice and team members is necessary.
    • Regularly reporting on the practice's performance, including financials, project status, and customer satisfaction, is required.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance) to achieve business objectives.
    • Skilled in managing and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences is essential.
