Job Title: Deputy Finance Manager

Seeking a highly skilled finance professional to lead accounting and financial reporting operations.

  • Accounting Operations:
    • Manage end-to-end accounting processes for business units, ensuring timely and accurate financial close.
    • Compliance with GAAP (Ind-AS) and company policies.
    • Deliver accurate books of accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
    • Ensure financial accounts are properly supported and reconciled.
    • Lead financial close review with finance leadership.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify aging and take suitable actions.
    • Interim audits, due diligence, statutory audit, GST audits, etc.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Support business units with finance operational support, developing and managing financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
    • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of results.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, partners, and vendors.
  • Other Activities/Initiatives:
    • Knowledge of nodal account, payment gateway reconciliations, e-commerce transactions, etc.

Key Qualifications:

  • Start-up experience and scaling up a start-up through Series-A, Series-B funding efforts preferred.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and reporting software.
  • Candidate who is well-versed in dealing with auditors, consultants.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • High-energy with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
