About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Digital Risk Services Specialist. This role involves executing controls-related engagements, including System and Organization Control (SOC) attestation engagements and HITRUST assessments.

  • This includes thoroughly testing and reviewing client-prepared documentation for SOC 1, SOC 2, and HITRUST assessments, as well as performing detailed evaluations of business processes and IT general controls.

Responsibilities include communicating effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide updates, collaborating with engagement team members to ensure seamless project execution, and contributing to practice development activities to enhance service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute SOC 1, SOC 2, and HITRUST assessments by prioritizing engagement tasks, conducting tests of business processes and IT general controls, and communicating progress to both clients and the engagement team.
  • Proactively interact with clients to gather information and identify process improvement opportunities, preparing necessary documentation to communicate these insights to the engagement team and clients effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by developing a comprehensive understanding of their operations, and promptly communicating client expectations, control exceptions, or engagement issues to the engagement team.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to digital risk services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, information technology, or a related field is required.
  • At least one year of experience in IT audit or SOC audit is required.
  • Possession of CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or DISA (Diploma in Information Systems Audit) certification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
