Job Overview:

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for developing advanced simulation process models and smart applications using optimization tools.

This role involves understanding project requirements, translating them into specifications and deliverables, producing timely and high-quality project results, building complex process models, running simulations, carrying out dynamic studies, performing optimization and de-bottlenecking analyses, and assisting with model development for real-time production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing simulation process models
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Managing the development of technical design specifications
  • Executing projects with project teams for end-to-end design & delivery
  • Assisting with Flow Assurance model building

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (Master's degree preferred)
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modelling
  • Skilled in Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, ROMeo, Rockwell Pavilion, Yokogawa smoc, Honeywell RMPCT, ASPEN DMC plus, and certified on modeling and simulation platform Aspen Plus / Hysys / Pro-II / Dynsim
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and control logics
