Job Title: Climate Innovation Specialist

About the Role:
We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to support our investment team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for climate solutions and sustainable innovation, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment Research and Sourcing Support: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities through research and preliminary outreach.
  • Due Diligence Assistance: Support the team in financial analysis, market validation, and data collection for potential deals.
  • Investment Process Support: Help prepare investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation.
  • Portfolio Support: Assist in tracking performance and impact metrics and conducting basic analyses for portfolio companies.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Help coordinate our presence at events and build databases of relevant ecosystem players.

Qualifications and Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree: In engineering, economics, finance, or related fields from a premier institution.
  • Work experience: 1-2 years in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and financial modelling skills specific to early-stage investments, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Priorities: Passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
