Job Opportunity: Hydraulic Mechanic Specialist

A highly skilled Hydraulic Mechanic is required to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components, including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses used in heavy equipment, manufacturing machinery, or industrial systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Inspection and Repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Component Disassembly and Reassembly: Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic units such as cylinders, pumps, and valves with precision and care.
  • Hose and Fitting Replacement: Replace or repair damaged hoses, fittings, seals, and lines to prevent system failure.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns and use testing equipment to check system performance.
  • Component Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate, modify, or install hydraulic components when necessary to meet system requirements.
  • Service Records and Documentation: Maintain detailed service records and repair documentation for future reference.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and equipment operators to identify issues and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Technical Knowledge and Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures by interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic or similar role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components is essential.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required to resolve complex system issues.
  • Safety Standards: Knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures is crucial for ensuring workplace safety.
  • Technical Interpretation: Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals is necessary for accurate understanding of system requirements.
