Research Leadership Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our agri-science research initiatives. As Senior Research Director - Agri-Science, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists and researchers in developing cutting-edge products for soil health, plant nutrition, and crop protection.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic vision for our agri-science group aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Leading and inspiring a team of scientists and researchers to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Driving the discovery, development, and commercialization of novel products targeted at global markets.
  • Managing technical excellence teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of product pipelines from early development through commercialization.

You will oversee the design, execution, and analysis of experiments and studies related to the agri-science segment, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance. You will also manage research projects, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient resource use and timely milestone completion.

In this role, you will develop novel bioformulations for crop improvement and crop protection, and lead the design and development of agri-science inputs including biofertilizers, PGPR, biocontrol agents, biostimulants, etc. You will oversee patent filing, review research publications, and ensure protection of intellectual property.

A Ph.D. in Plant Biology, Crop Science, Agricultural Biotechnology, or related fields is required. Minimum 12 years of postdoctoral experience in agri-biotech companies or biotechnology industries focused on agri-input formulations is necessary. Demonstrated expertise in developing novel bio-based formulations for crop improvement and protection is essential.
