Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Specialist

This role encompasses responsibility for overseeing manufacturing processes, product sustenance engineering, and regulatory compliance. A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in managing these areas is required.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in design, production processes, quality management, and project scoping activities. They should also be adept at reviewing and validating engineering drawings, conducting gap assessments, and participating in ideation activities.

A key aspect of the role involves coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. The candidate should be skilled in conducting tol-stackup studies, dimensional variation analysis, and applying project management principles to plan, schedule, and monitor project activities efficiently.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or production engineering with a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM&A) principles and manufacturing methods for plastics, metals, and packaging components.
  • Proven experience in analyzing project feasibility for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Costing experience with metals and plastic commodities.
  • Experience working with electronic components and their design specifications.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (DFSS/DMAIC) for data analysis, root cause identification, and process design/improvements.
