Accessibility Expert for Government and Enterprise Clients

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Expert to join our team as the end-to-end owner of accessibility delivery for government and enterprise clients in the US.

The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing, testing, remediation, document/PDF accessibility, and compliance reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess: Conduct automated and manual audits for websites, portals, LMS, documents, and multimedia content using industry-leading tools.
  • Test: Perform real-user accessibility testing with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Remediate: Provide clear, prioritized fixes and hands-on remediation support for PDFs and Office documents.
  • Guide developers on accessible coding practices and advocate for inclusive design principles.
  • Prepare VPATs/ACRs and client-facing accessibility conformance documentation.
  • Advise clients on ADA, Section 508, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and emerging US/state accessibility laws.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1/2.2) and relevant legislation (ADA, Section 504/508).
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility tools (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Axe, WAVE, SiteImprove, Adobe Acrobat Pro).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, ARIA, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Angular a plus), and experience with federal, state, or higher education contracts preferred.
