We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. This role will involve managing and maintaining large-scale data sets, developing reports, and identifying solutions for data-related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
  • Oversee user access and manage user roles
  • Ensure the quality of imported data, collaborating with quality assurance specialists as needed
  • Develop and decommission data sets as required
  • Handle confidential information in accordance with established guidelines
  • Contribute to report development and analysis
  • Design and maintain the reporting environment, incorporating data sources, security protocols, and metadata
  • Support data warehouse initiatives by assessing reporting needs and revising requirements
  • Implement strategies for data integrity and normalization
  • Evaluate new software and technologies, making recommendations for implementation or upgrade
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems
  • Troubleshoot reporting database issues and resolve problems
  • Analyze changes to source production systems and assess their impact
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science or a related field
  • Experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Capacity to analyze existing tools and databases, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts into lay terms
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale databases and handling complex data sets
  • Familiarity with addressing and metadata standards
