CMDB Data Specialist

About the Role:

We seek an expert CMDB data specialist to join our team. In this critical position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our configuration management database (CMDB).

Your primary goal will be to maintain data integrity and robustness by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.

This is a unique opportunity to work in an international, distributed environment with a dynamic team using agile methodologies.

  • Maintaining CMDB data quality through data cleansing, deduplication, and relationship establishment between configuration items.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to the CMDB.
  • Defining data quality standards and metrics for the CMDB.

You will work closely with the IT ServiceNow System Admin and process owners within IT to achieve our goals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in external data source integrations, ITOM discovery, OT Module, and a solid understanding of SAM Module.

The consultant should have excellent stakeholder management skills to gather, analyze, and launch requirements related to ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB/Asset areas.
