Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our business growth team, you will be responsible for driving financial analysis and support to drive business growth and optimize costs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the business and consumers, as well as strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen.

  • Develop a clear understanding of the drivers of revenue and impact of pricing decisions on growth.
  • Manage day-to-day P&L and work closely with business stakeholders to drive business and growth.
  • Create processes for new initiatives and improve existing ones to reduce cost leakage.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep understanding of the business and consumers, categories and other functions of the organization.
  • Do data-driven trend analysis for P&L and revenue metrics with focus on improving the shape of the P&L whale highlighting key insights to leadership.
  • Prepare, manage and publish business scorecards.
  • Run weekly reviews with business stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis on various projects as and when required.
Requirements:
  • CA/MBA/B.Tech degree.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience post qualification.
  • Strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills, ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, experience in a start-up/Retail would be preferred.
