We are seeking a lawyer to join our team at our Bangalore office. This is a growth-oriented role for a candidate eager to take on complex legal work across varied domains.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in relevant practice areas. Freshers with strong internships will also be considered.
The selected individual will draft, review, and negotiate software and technology contracts including SaaS, licensing, cloud services, and product development agreements.
Key responsibilities include advising clients on IP protection, registration strategies, licensing structures, and IP diligence during investments or acquisitions.
Assisting with data protection and technology law compliance, contributing to structuring and vetting of commercial and cross-border agreements involving IP and IT elements, and researching emerging regulatory trends in technology, privacy, and IP law.
Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, employment agreements, cross-border instruments, and regulatory filings.
Contract lifecycle management includes helping clients structure and manage contracts across procurement, vendor, IP, services, and technology categories.
Investment transactions involve supporting on transaction structuring, due diligence, term sheet drafting, closing documentation, and post-closing compliances for venture capital, private equity, and strategic investments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a reputable institution.
Excellent legal drafting and research skills, strong understanding of commercial and corporate laws, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and work under tight deadlines.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and strong team player who can contribute to the success of the firm.
