We are seeking a skilled professional to join our organization as a Hydraulics & Irrigation System Design Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, specifically in hydraulics and water resources engineering.

This assignment is a consulting role that requires expertise in the design, analysis, and preparation of drawings for irrigation infrastructure such as dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, canal networks, and related hydraulic structures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing hydraulic structures using standard engineering codes and software.
  • Developing micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs, and hydraulic profiles for efficient water distribution.
  • Preparing hydraulic modelling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Developing detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modelling tools.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines, and state irrigation department practices.
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
