About this position:

Key responsibilities of the role include developing and implementing methodologies and standards for review activities across the organization in alignment with the risk management framework.

  • Design and develop test strategies, plans, and schedules to ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to established standards and policies.
  • Support and implement initiatives with low to moderate risk, exercising independent judgment to guide risk reporting, escalation, and resolution.
  • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in risk management frameworks and the risk and control environment.
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners, and management to achieve shared goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Independent Testing or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Independent Testing, Internal Audit, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with building constructive relationships and holding self-accountable for delivering on commitments.
  • Familiarity with testing topics, risk types, line of business process walkthroughs, test results, researching, and issue identification.
  • Proficiency with quality assurance and analytical skills to evaluate policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls.

Job Expectations:

  • Execute review activities effectively. May lead moderate to high-risk or complex review activity engagements in a matrixed environment and communicate emerging risks to management.
  • Complete review activities on schedule, raising any delays to the review activity lead and looking for opportunities to remediate schedule issues.
  • Elevate potential issues discovered during review activity completion to a review lead, identify corrective actions, and follow through on reporting, escalation, and resolution.
  • Complete all documentation under limited supervision and retain relevant work papers.
  • Implement initiatives with moderate to high risk.
