Chemical Sales Executive Job Description

A leading chemical manufacturing company seeks a skilled Chemical Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling chemicals and fertilizers, with a strong focus on Ammonium Phosphate (MAP/DAP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified leads through online B2B platforms and other sources.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and product brochures.
  • Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure smooth order execution with the dispatch/accounts team.
  • Build and maintain a strong distributor/dealer database segmented by geography and crop focus.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to run digital campaigns.
  • Track export leads and handle basic documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide weekly MIS reports on leads, closures, revenue, and repeat customers.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Master's degree in Agriculture, Chemistry, or Commerce with 5-8 years' experience in inside sales or export sales of chemicals/fertilizers.
  • Strong knowledge of MAP/DAP positioning, fertilizer trade, and export market requirements.
  • Experience working with B2B sales portals and CRM tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and ERP order entry.
  • Strong negotiation, client management, and relationship-building skills.
