Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

Luxoft is looking for an experienced QA professional to play a key role in testing and maintaining our client solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our Agile team using Microsoft Visual Studio ecosystem, GitHub, and Atlassian stack (Jira & Confluence) to test applications.
  • Develop detailed test plans and cases with well-documented scenarios for new frontend web applications and REST APIs, ensuring functionality meets business requirements.
  • Create automated scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress to achieve high test coverage according to industry best practices.
  • Perform manual testing as needed and document results according to industry standards.
  • Participate in requirement gathering with the development team to identify optimal solutions for new applications and services.
  • Document performed work according to industry standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of QA and development methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Good coding skills in JavaScript.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g. Gitlab, Jira, VSTS).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level English language proficiency.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with performance testing.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
