Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: The Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor will be responsible for instructing in areas of Physiotherapy at various academic levels.
  • Create and maintain course materials and curriculum.
  • Evaluate students' assignments and performance.

Research:

  • Conduct research in Physiotherapy, targeting publication in acclaimed journals.
  • Secure external funding to facilitate research activities.

Mentorship:

  • Provide academic and career mentorship to students.
  • Oversee student projects and research efforts.

Service:

  • Engage in departmental and university service, including committee participation.
  • Community and Industry Engagement.
  • Partner with industry and community stakeholders to foster collaborative initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Demonstrable ability or potential for research and teaching excellence.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience as an assistant professor.
  • 2 years of experience as an associate professor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A track record of publications in academic journals.
  • Experience in securing research funding.
  • Relevant industry experience in Physiotherapy.
