Subject Head Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our academic team.

About the Role:

This is a key position that requires strong leadership and subject matter expertise to design and own the academic structure and progression of the curriculum aligned with competitive exams, school boards, or international standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising creation of high-quality learning materials including video lectures, assessments, animations, study material, and question banks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Learning Materials Creation: Oversee the development of high-quality learning materials including video lectures, assessments, animations, study material, and question banks.
  • Lead Academic Team: Recruit, train, and lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), content developers, and educators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a reputable institution
  • At least 7 years of teaching or academic leadership experience
  • Experience in leading a team and mentoring professionals
  • Strong subject matter expertise and academic rigor
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with educational technology platforms and digital tools
