Human Resources Manager Job
This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and administering Human Resource functions.
- The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Human Resource Management or related field and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in HR administration.
- The person should be familiar with service rules, labor laws, and university administration.
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and documentation skills are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and HRMS platforms is also needed.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and drafting skills are essential.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in work approach are expected.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Selection: The incumbent will carry out recruitment processes for teaching and non-teaching positions as per UGC, AICTE, and statutory norms.
2. Service Matters and Personnel Administration: The individual will maintain employee service records, personal files, and digital HR databases.
3. Payroll and Benefits Administration: The person will process payroll, administer provident fund, gratuity, and other statutory benefits.
4. Compliance and Statutory Reporting: The incumbent will ensure adherence to UGC, AICTE, and labor law provisions applicable to the University.
5. HR Policy Implementation and Operations: The individual will assist in drafting, revising, and implementing HR policies, service rules, and employee manuals.
6. Grievance and Disciplinary Matters: The person will assist in handling employee grievances, disciplinary cases, and inquiries as per University rules.
7. Employee Engagement and Development: The incumbent will organize induction programs and orientation sessions for new employees.
