A leading insurance consulting and technology firm is seeking a highly skilled finance professional to support a large-scale transformation project.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have strong experience in insurance finance systems, cash management, and process improvement. They will be responsible for developing and executing test cases for insurance-specific finance processes, including penny testing, subledger reconciliation, and cash lifecycle testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for finance-related processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Test integrations between policy administration systems, claims systems, and the finance subledger to ensure seamless end-to-end process execution.
  • Validate IFRS/UK GAAP postings and confirm accounting rules are correctly applied for premiums, claims, and reinsurance.
  • Perform data validation for high-volume insurance transactions, ensuring data integrity across multiple source systems.
  • Log, track, and retest defects in JIRA, collaborating with IT and finance teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing guidance, preparing test evidence, and facilitating issue resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential skills include 3+ years' experience in finance/ERP testing within the insurance or financial services sector, hands-on experience with penny testing, reconciliations, and cash management workflows, and a good understanding of insurance finance flows. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
