Manufacturing Execution System Support Specialist

Ensuring the effective operation of manufacturing software systems, which monitor and control production, is a key responsibility of this role. The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) support specialist plays a vital part in bridging the gap between IT and manufacturing, requiring an understanding of both software systems and production processes.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, optimizing system performance, configuring MES solutions to meet production needs, and providing technical assistance to users. This includes identifying and resolving issues with the MES software and hardware to ensure uninterrupted production operations, as well as monitoring system performance, implementing updates, and making necessary adjustments to optimize the MES for efficiency and quality.

  • Documentation:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including protocols, reports, and user guides, for the MES.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure the MES supports quality management by tracking deviations and exceptions, contributing to improved quality control.
