Senior Ruby Developer - Code Optimization Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby Developer to join our team as a Code Optimization Expert. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, algorithm design, and systems-level programming.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems evaluation, benchmark creation, and performance optimization using modern software data formats (e.g., JSON, YAML).
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate deep fluency in at least four of the following areas: Core Data Structures, Algorithmic Paradigms, Graph Algorithms, Mathematics & Number Theory, String Processing, or Advanced Topics.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected individual will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient algorithms, data structures, and software solutions that meet high performance standards.

  1. Design and develop optimized software solutions using Ruby and relevant technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize performance improvement opportunities.
  3. Analyze and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve throughput and efficiency.
  4. Develop and maintain high-quality test automation frameworks to ensure robust testing and validation of software solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Ruby with at least 4+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, algorithm design, or systems-level programming.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and technically challenging algorithmic code.
  • Strong understanding of algorithmic complexity, performance optimization, and computational constraints.
  • Familiarity with modern software data formats (e.g., JSON, YAML) and version-controlled codebases.
