Calypso Developer

We are seeking a skilled Calypso Developer to join our team at Bloom Systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the Calypso Reporting Framework, Scheduled Tasks, and APIs.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Custom Events, Entities, Workflows, Scheduled Task, Reports, and other Back Office & Middle Office operations. They will be proficient in stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Implementation, Testing, and Deployment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancements, Development, Build, and Deploy of existing implemented modules at Calypso
  • Development of custom Scheduled Tasks and custom reports
  • Customization of Engines and event handling, Automation of jobs using shell/perl scripts
  • Development of utilities for bulk uploading/terminations of trades
  • Development of utilities for bulk amending trade-related details like Book, Legal Entity, Calendar etc. for products like Swap, CDS, CDX, ESL, ESO, Swap etc.
  • Enhancement of engines that handle interfacing between two different systems such as Apex and Calypso
  • End-to-end implementation of products like Swap, Credit Default Swap, Equity Linked Swap, Equity Structured Option, FXOption, etc. in Calypso which includes static data set up, market data set up, creation of product definition, trade capturing, termination of trade, running scheduled task and reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
