Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service at the store. The role involves greeting and assisting customers who visit to drop off or collect their articles, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that the customer experience is smooth and professional.

The Store Manager will oversee stock inventory, handle daily cash transactions, and resolve any customer grievances confidently and amicably. Effective communication, a hospitable demeanor, and the ability to work in sync with backend teams are crucial for this role.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with article drop-off and collection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Manage inventory of stock.
  • Handle daily cash collection and prepare end-of-day financial summaries.
  • Follow up with customers regarding the collection of completed orders.
  • Resolve customer concerns or grievances politely and confidently.
  • Stay in close communication with the backend operations team.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of transactions, stock, and customer interactions.

Key Qualifications

Prior experience in retail management, customer service, or a related field is preferred.

Strong verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with customers confidently.

A polite, hospitable, and solution-oriented approach to customer service.

Basic understanding of managing cash transactions and maintaining financial records.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

A proactive and positive attitude towards resolving customer issues and ensuring smooth store operations.
