Job Description

The company seeks a senior data scientist to lead the design and development of predictive models that drive actionable insights from complex datasets.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and leveraging expertise in data analysis and modeling techniques to provide valuable solutions.

  • Collaborate with domain experts, stakeholders, and data engineers to identify and gather relevant data for analysis
  • Develop strategy for Predictive Analytics
  • Data Collection and Integrations
  • Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques
  • Develop and apply advanced analytics for organizational strategy like Prescriptive Analytics/Data optimization and simulation
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models and algorithms to analyze large and complex datasets
  • Work on Data exploration and Visualization
  • Extensive experience in Data communication and storytelling
  • Big Data Analytics, Processing and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns and trends
  • Perform feature engineering, variable selection, and model validation to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of predictive models
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and produce developed models for deployment in real-world systems
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, computer vision, NLP, and MLOps techniques
Required Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience leading small DS teams and has proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role preferably in a business setting.

  • Strong analytical thinking and a passion for data-driven decision-making
  • Experience working on tools like Python, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
