2D Animator Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled 2D Animator to join our creative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for animating characters and environments for short-format cinematic movies and reels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Animate 2D characters with expressive movements and emotions, ensuring consistency in style and visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the director and animation team to preserve storytelling intent and deliver high-quality content.
  • Prepare animation assets for compositing and final edit, iterating quickly on feedback from the creative director and animation team.

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a 2D Animator, proficiency in Adobe Animate / After Effects / Toon Boom Harmony (or equivalent tools).
  • Strong understanding of character acting, timing, and emotional expression, with knowledge of motion principles and anticipation.
  • Ability to work with 45° and side-angle character perspectives, creating engaging and realistic animations.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Freshers with strong portfolios encouraged to apply, with a focus on cinematic animation, anime-inspired projects or storytelling-heavy backgrounds.
  • Experience with VFX, motion graphics, or compositing, familiarity with stock market, mythology, or astrology themes (a plus).
