Senior Performance Testing Specialist

About the Role:

The Senior Performance Testing Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive performance testing strategies, ensuring seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies and processes. This position requires expertise in designing, scripting, and executing load, stress, and scalability testing to deliver high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions for cloud-based performance testing, leveraging Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain technical expertise in performance/load testing methodologies, staying up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor server metrics using APM tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimized solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency gains in automation and test management.
  • Implement best performance test practices and standards, ensuring enterprise-wide consistency and quality.
  • Conduct endurance, stress, load, and volume testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure.
  • Provide performance testing software systems support for business units, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of performance testing experience, with a strong background in OpenText LoadRunner, Citrix, RDP, Java, and mobile technologies.
  • Significant experience working with JMeter and APM tools, including New Relic and Grafana.
  • Proven expertise in SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing using SOAP UI, Postman, and Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in performance testing principles, techniques, and standards, as well as software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (SQA) processes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, Azure Repo, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
