Lead Performance Tester

We are seeking an accomplished Performance Test Lead to lead and mentor performance testing teams, establish standards, processes, and best practices for performance testing.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in JMeter scripting, parameterization, and complex test scenario design. Experience with AI tools in testing or performance analysis is also a plus.

  • A minimum of 7+ years of total experience in performance testing and quality assurance.
  • At least 3+ years proven leadership experience managing QA teams and projects.
  • Hands-on experience with JMeter scripting, parameterization, and complex test scenario design.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript for test automation and custom scripting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leading and mentoring performance testing teams to achieve optimal results.
  2. Developing and implementing performance testing strategies across multiple concurrent projects.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers.
  4. Maintaining and optimizing sophisticated JMeter scripts.

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in JMeter scripting, parameterization, and complex test scenario design.
  • Extensive hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing sophisticated JMeter scripts.
  • Deep expertise in performance monitoring and diagnostics using tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, and other APM solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and guiding team adoption.
