Performance Tester Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced performance tester to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance test plans using Apache JMeter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test plans using industry-standard tools.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts for performance testing scenarios.
  • Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Perform thorough testing and monitoring of applications running in Kubernetes clusters.
  • Execute performance testing across cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Implement and configure monitoring tools and dashboards to track system health and performance metrics.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex performance issues across distributed systems and microservices.
  • Provide actionable performance reports and recommendations for process improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for load and performance testing.
  • Proficient in scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python, Shell) for automation.
  • Working knowledge of container orchestration and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficient in using monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics).
  • Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve complex performance issues.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
