Job Title: Design Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineering Specialist to create and update components specification sheets, part/assembly 3D CAD models, and prepare drawings as per given standards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and participate in design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create/update components specification sheets and part/assembly 3D CAD models.
  • Prepare part/assembly drawings as per given standard.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for engineering change notices (ECNs) and engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Participate in design reviews and optimization activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • The successful candidate should be comfortable working with US-based timing zones.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Proficient knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with sheet metals, machined parts, and plastic components.
  • Understanding of various manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desirable Skills:
  • Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up.
  • Knowledge of failure mode effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Familiarity with product life cycle management tools, such as Windchill/PLM.
