We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Specialist to lead our structural engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design for buildings and social infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural designs and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, community centers, sanitation facilities, water supply structures, etc.).
- Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
- Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Assess foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
- Prepare design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Review DPR deliverables (draft and final reports) from a structural perspective.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in structural design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
