Revenue Accountant Role Overview

Job Description

The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition, financial reporting, and variance analysis. This position requires an individual who can effectively collaborate with various teams to align revenue goals with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards for revenue recognition;
  • • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for internal and external stakeholders;
  • • Analyzing actual vs. forecasted revenue and explaining key drivers of change;
  • • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams to align revenue goals with business strategy;
  • • Supporting internal and external audits related to revenue and billing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires an individual with the following skills and qualifications:

  • • Being a Qualified Charted Accountant;
  • • Having 1-3 years of experience in revenue accounting or corporate finance;
  • • Having a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles;
  • • Having advanced Excel skills; ERP systems SAP S4 Hana, BI tool an added advantage;
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
