The company is looking for an experienced Billing Operations Associate to join its team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless billing operations, revenue recognition, and compliance.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solving, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. They should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and experience with billing tools (e.g., Chargebee, Stripe, or Recurly).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily invoicing and subscription billing tasks
- Ensure billing records are accurate and up-to-date
- Support the finance team in resolving billing errors
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve payment issues
- Review invoices and highlight any overdue payments
- Suggest improvements to the billing process
- Answer basic billing-related questions from teams and customers
- Maintain smooth payment and invoicing processes
- Assist with audit and compliance tasks as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of billing tools (e.g., Chargebee, Stripe, or Recurly)
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Interest in learning about SaaS billing and revenue models
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage tasks effectively
- Adaptability: open to learning and handling different tasks as needed
