Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager – Finance to oversee and manage the comprehensive financial operations of BimaPay. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with substantial experience in lending, financial management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive individual capable of driving financial strategies, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including lender reconciliation and accounting processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.[hm1] 
  • Team Leadership:
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Lending Operations:
  • Manage and oversee lending activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze lending data to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement, ensuring lending volume and profit goals are met.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning:
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic initiatives.
  • Compliance and Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including timely tax filings and statutory audits.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in lending operations is required.
  • Proven experience in financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing finance teams.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally, and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the financial technology (fintech) sector.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the BFSI sector.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
