The Programme Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple projects to ensure alignment with organisational goals and customer expectations. This role requires strong project governance, budget management, schedule management, CAPEX tracking & stakeholder communication, and customer handling skills to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contractual and statutory requirements.

  • Implementing and enforcing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) policies consistently across all projects.">
  • Monitoring project statuses meticulously, providing key insights to senior management for effective decision-making.">
  • Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, including Bank Guarantees (BGs), insurances, and statutory requirements, working collaboratively with partners.">
  • Tracking project and contractual timelines rigorously; advising on Liquidated Damages (LD) penalties, Extensions of Time (EOTs), and recovery or extension of BGs as necessary.">

Budget and Capex Tracking:

  • Assisting in developing project budgets in collaboration with Design, Projects, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams.">
  • Facilitating the generation and approval of Non-Fundable Approvals (NFA) requests in line with approved project budgets.">
  • Creating and managing a comprehensive Budget Tracker for projects; promptly notifying senior management of any cost overruns.">
  • Coordinating with project and SCM teams to develop Capex forecasts for effective project planning and resource allocation.">

Customer Handling, Reporting & Documentation:

  • Internal: Compiling detailed Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior management meetings, and generating progress updates highlighting key achievements and challenges.">
  • External: Developing and maintaining project schedules aligned with customer commitments; preparing detailed reports for customers and external investors showcasing project progress and future projections.">
  • Leading meetings with customers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and manage expectations.">
  • Establishing and maintaining communication channels to oversee the design process through to construction issue resolution in collaboration with customer SMEs.">
  • Coordinating design and procurement for customer-related packages alongside internal and external stakeholders.">
  • Compiling and disseminating reports and Minutes of Meeting (MOM) to ensure transparency.">
">Key Skills and Qualifications:">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PGDPM NICMAR/RICS. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.">
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in program/project management, preferably in the [Data centre industry/sector].">
  • Strong understanding of PLM policies, project governance, and contract management.">
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial forecasting.">
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.">
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MSP, MS Doc, Power Bi e.t.c.">
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.">
