Job Title:

Senior Engineering Manager - Traffic Signalling

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our traffic signalling team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage traffic signal engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Provide technical leadership in traffic signalling design, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and public agencies to understand project requirements.
  • Act as a technical expert, contributing innovative engineering strategies to solve complex problems.

Candidate Specification:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Over 12 years of post-graduate experience in traffic signal design.
  • Member of a recognized professional institution and actively working toward chartership.

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in traffic signals engineering.
  • Familiarity with UK Traffic Signals standards and guidance.
  • Proficiency in traffic modelling software, particularly LinSig.
  • Experience working in team environments to deliver traffic signal projects.

Desirable Skills:

  • In-depth experience with traffic signal controller programming and all signal modes.
