Production Leadership Opportunity

About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our factory operations and drive excellence in production planning, inventory control, and Lean methods.

Responsibilities:

Ownership of Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production Planning:

Scheduling and on-time execution across shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Efficiency, Yield, and OEE:

Reducing waste and downtime through Lean methods.

Enforcing SOPs and Specifications:

Resolving floor issues quickly.

Planning for RM/PM Requirements:

Maintaining optimal inventories (FIFO, freshness).

Manpower Allocation and Rostering:

Partnering with HR on hiring and staffing.

Leading Factory Trials and Scale-up:

From pilot to full production.

Upholding Compliance:

FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and safety at all times.

Tracking and Reporting KPIs:

Volume, OEE, yield, waste, productivity; analyzing trends and implementing improvements.

Requirements:

Bakery/Pastry Chef, Food Technology or Engineering Background

10+ years in production/plant leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery

Proven multi-shift management and supervisor leadership experience

Deep knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients

Strong command of production planning, inventory control, and Lean/CI tools

Working knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, and related food-safety protocols

Ideal Profile:

Strong leader who coaches, sets standards, and holds teams accountable

Problem-solver with a hands-on approach on the shop floor

Process-driven and data-led; improves systems and SOPs continuously

Clear communicator with management, supervisors, and operators

Language: Tamil & Hindi preferred
