Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our data science efforts, driving innovation and excellence in machine learning and data analytics.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of researchers, developers, and architects to develop and deploy cutting-edge applications in multiple environments.

  • Design and build process automation solutions for large-scale digital map-making.
  • Develop and test analytical models to improve internal data-driven processes and system control needs.
  • Lead predictive modeling and application teams on Core Map projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Econometrics with a focus on computational statistics, data mining, machine learning, and optimization.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of related professional experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of data mining and analytic methods, including regression, classifiers, clustering, association rules, decision trees, and Bayesian network analysis.
  • Knowledge of computer vision, deep learning, and point cloud processing algorithms.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis packages and scripting languages, such as Python, R, or Matlab.
  • Programming experience with SQL, shell scripts, and other languages.
  • Familiarity with big data tools like Pig, Hive, Hadoop, and Spark.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with additional experience in:

  • Development with Scala and Docker.
  • Working with GIS data and NoSQL databases.
