Job Role

The ideal candidate for this role will have the necessary experience, skills, and passion to drive the continued optimization of our tech architecture. This comprises:

  • Over 120 high-traffic eCommerce websites serving customers worldwide
  • Business analytics that determines product and catalog selection, customer growth, and retention
  • ERP software managing global operations
  • Software for crawling product listings at scale
  • Modules across all functions, including marketing, logistics, customer support, finance, etc.
  • Modules supporting workflow, dashboards, and reporting processes for all divisions

As a backend developer, you will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current applications and processes. You should be analytical, results-driven, and have excellent communication, computer, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Compiling and analyzing data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience
  • Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
  • Recording data and reporting it to relevant parties
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and learn new programming languages
  • Leading projects as needed
