Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Energy Installation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support during the commissioning phase of energy storage projects. This includes serving as the primary point of contact between clients and subcontractors, collaborating with professionals to implement a detailed commissioning schedule, and generating daily and weekly reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for mechanical and electrical tasks during the commissioning phase of energy storage projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and subcontractors, coordinating with them when necessary.
  • Collaborate with professionals to implement a detailed commissioning schedule, working closely with colleagues from diverse disciplines.
  • Generate daily and weekly reports, monitoring and addressing any deviations from the planned schedule.

Additional Tasks:

  1. Possess 2-3 years of experience as an energy storage service engineer with hands-on site experience.
  2. Handle commissioning, pre and post-commissioning tests, and performance test verification.
  3. Manage spare parts inventory, including maintaining records, documenting transactions, and updating inventory.
  4. Ensure the safekeeping of tools.
  5. Assign tasks to third-party service partner technicians, ensuring all work is documented and reported.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in electrical projects (substations, power lines, or LV/MV cables).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of BESS PCS and related supporting components.
  • Solid experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
