Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Professional

This position oversees the procurement of raw materials for production processes. It involves developing strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Process Management
    • Analyze purchase requisitions, float RFQs as per plan received from planning teams, prepare comparative quote sheets, negotiate best prices, and issue POs to stakeholders.
    • Follow Procurement SOPs to ensure timely delivery of materials, diligent follow-ups with suppliers, and timely payments.
  • Supply Chain Strategy Development
    • Develop and implement strategies for procuring raw materials to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Identify market trends and potential risks and opportunities in the raw materials market.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring
    • Select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities, build strong relationships with them, and negotiate favorable terms.
    • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Budget and Cost Control
    • Manage procurement budgets for raw materials, adhere to financial targets, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve profitability.
  • Quality Assurance and Inventory Management
    • Ensure that all procured materials meet required quality standards and specifications.
    • Work closely with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Evaluate compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
    • Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Foster a collaborative work environment within the supply chain team.
