Aveva Administrator Job Description

As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for administering the Aveva E3D project. Your key responsibilities will include setup and restoration of projects, database management, performing DICE checks, creating and assigning Access Control Rights (ACRs), and database creation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and restore E3D projects.
  • Manage databases, including merge, backtrack, and reconfigure operations.
  • Perform DICE checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Create and assign ACRs for secure access control.
  • Develop and maintain databases, including creation and modification of user-defined attributes and element types.
  • Configure global projects, including setting up hubs and satellites, creating locations, and assigning databases.
  • Generate review files with attribute information from 3D models.
  • Set up back sheets, detail plots, and customized isometrics.
  • Customize drawings, including sheet libraries, styles, rules, symbol libraries, isodraft symbol libraries, labels, auto-tagging, auto-dimensioning, and automatic drawing production.
  • Update software, patches, environment variables, and ALS configurations.
  • Produce multi-discipline reports using Report Designer or PML.
  • Provide technical support for users in troubleshooting errors and issues in 3D models, isometrics, and drawings.
Requirements:
  • 8-15 years of experience in administration, preferably in the field of Aveva E3D.
  • Hands-on experience with Aveva E3D and its various modules.
  • Strong understanding of database management, security, and access control.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or engineering.
