Job Title: Aveva Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aveva administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering E3D, a cutting-edge software solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • E3D Administration: Setup, restore, merge, backtrack, and reconfigure databases; perform DICE checks; create and assign ACRs; database creation and maintenance.
  • Dictionary Management: Create, modify, and manage user-defined attributes and element types.
  • Global Administration: Setup global projects (hub and satellite), create locations, and assign databases; create and manage extract databases.
  • Cats & Specs: Piping specifications, bolt specs, catalogues for standard piping components, instruments, and special components.
  • Review Files Generation: Generate review files with attribute information from 3D models.
  • Isometrics: Setup back sheets, detail plots, setting files to generate customized isometrics.
  • Drawings Customization: Customization of sheet libraries, styles, rules, symbol libraries, Isodraft symbol libraries, labels, auto-tagging, auto-dimensioning, and automatic drawing production.
  • Software Updates: Update software, patch environment variable settings, and ALS configuration.
  • Reports Generation: Generate multi-discipline reports using Report Designer or PML.
  • Troubleshooting: Support users in troubleshooting errors and issues in 3D models, isometrics, and drawings.
  • E3D Customizations: Customizations in E3D using PML.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience with E3D.
  • Strong understanding of administration, dictionary management, and global administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
