Job Title:

 

A Financial Operations Specialist will serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding statutory filings, compliance, and financial statement preparation. The role requires ensuring timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with relevant government agencies.

 

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and financial reporting standards. They will be familiar with accounting software and tools, including Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with relevant government agencies.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in the Companies Act, income tax, TDS provisions, GST, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any legal or compliance issues related to statutory filings and financial statements.
  • Provide accurate and reliable financial information to clients, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools, including Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial statements and compliance filings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to address complex financial and compliance issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.
