Lead Unreal Game Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Unreal Game Programmer to spearhead the development of gameplay and mechanics for our project.

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to drive technical vision, collaborate closely with designers and artists, and guide the programming team to deliver high-quality code and contribute to the overall direction of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, gameplay mechanics, and technical specifications.
  • Develop complex gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Unreal Engine.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and development in Unreal Engine and game development practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Senior Unreal Game Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine, C++ programming, and Blueprints.

Preferred Skills

  • Shipped at least one title on PC, console, or mobile platforms using Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with version control systems (Perforce).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
