Procurement Manager Job

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement process for critical components. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and maintain exceptional service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review purchase requisitions and release purchase orders on suppliers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers to guarantee material availability as per execution plan and uphold service level above 95%.
  • Proactively identify risks and escalate challenges to meet expected deliveries.
  • Periodically review and update master data, including KANBAN maintained in the system.
  • Coordinate with planning team to provide status updates against pending purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with planning team to offer necessary visibility along with confirmation on technical feasibility while quoting large projects.
  • Engage with global supply chain team, stores, logistics, quality, production, and finance teams to resolve issues related to Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle in casting/forging categories.
  • Implement ECN actions in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Identify challenges in supply chain and work on time-bound plans to mitigate them in coordination with the global supply chain team.
  • Attend internal and external audits.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure best lead times and cost.
  • Prepare and submit regular management information reports related to supply chain.
  • Motivate and support team members.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in P2P process.
