Senior Merchandiser Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in merchandising and marketing, with a strong understanding of order execution and procurement processes.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing buyer accounts, procuring orders, and providing input to design teams for collections.
  • They will also be expected to maintain a pulse on changing market trends, communicate with buyers, and coordinate with production, dispatch, and quality departments.
  • Apart from these responsibilities, the Senior Merchandiser will need to remain up-to-date with industry best practices and provide tentative spot costing during buyer meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage buyer relationships to drive sales growth.
  2. Procure high-quality products at competitive prices while meeting customer expectations.
  3. Provide input to design teams to create attractive product lines that meet customer needs.
  4. Maintain open communication channels with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in merchandising and marketing, with a focus on order execution and procurement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with procurement software and systems is a plus.
